A funny sight in Mid-Life

Isn’t it a funny sight?
To see women diet,
Never a care when eating to their fill,
Though it was always against their will!

And when she discovers that extra pound,
Pronto is her family starving found?
All attempts to rid of the love handles,
To the extent of lighting scented candles!

Isn’t it a funny sight?
To see men with all their fortitude fight,
To prove their manhood in all field,
For it’s not in them to yield!

So they pant and huff and puff,
Even they don’t know their own bluff,
On a mountain bike or a soccer ground,
Trying to keep them from becoming round!

Isn’t it a funny sight?
To see ourselves in situations tight,
Wobbling and struggling to top the race,
Knowing not we are just units in space!
