Dear ~! (as in Dear John or Jane )

Image
12/12/2015 Dear ~!, I hope this letter finds you in the best of your health (both physical and mental) and happiness in the midst of your wonderful family and friends. I am writing this letter to you to thank you for remembering me and giving me a very honest feedback (Your Post) on Thimphu Confession Page (Just For Fun) on the much viewed and liked Facebook. I am also doing well – mostly planning on how to become a good teacher and an even better human being. I am at my best amidst my wonderful colleagues – who have given me so much love and high regards, my students – who have shared their joy and sorrow and who have grown into my life so beautifully that it will take me several lifetimes to forget them and a family – who has made it possible for me to achieve the impossible grooming me with so much affection and instilling in me compassion for all the six realms. It is indeed a wonderful life and I cannot thank God enough for all I have received and am grateful for ...

Immense sense

Image
What if you saw a poor man? Ignore or do what you can? What if you felt a sharp ache? Tell or sooth with sweet cake? Sharing makes immense sense, Giving always release our tense, Trying never was an option, We are filled with compassion. What if we all let sadness go, Let it flow out with our ego, It is just a matter of time, Before we get into the sublime!

Parting Blues

Image
Yet another journey’s end Curious about the next bend Yet another chapter’s close, Like a fully bloomed rose! Perhaps the full rose will now wither, As the inevitable comes hither, But beautiful memories we made, Will not let the withering rose fade! All the squabble and quarrel, Shouts and yells in a choral, Always ending with a hug and smile, Conquering that tiresome mile! Every little abstract dance, Every little happy glance, Even the forlornly funny song, The withered rose will smile along! Thus begins another journey, With hopes to meet the funny, Saving me from life’s messy churn, Lifting me at every turn!

Why History is a very important subject!

History Education and Sustainable Development  To define sustainability – it means to configure a civilization or human activity so that its members and economies are able to meet their needs and express their greatest potential in the present, while preserving it for the future generations . Sustainable Development Education ensures the future generation’s ability to do the same by not exceeding the regenerative capacity of everything that is around us. Sustainable development has become a matter of concern after people world across started realizing the damage that the Earth had suffered – from wars and social disharmony to global warming. What can we sustain as we develop? This question should be asked often to remind us of how we can contribute. What do we need to sustain as we educate our children? What can we save for the future generations? As History scholars, we understand that the teaching and learning of History as a subject will always play an important role in...

Bittersweet Smiley Frowns

Image
Pacing up and down, Feeling a smiley frown, With a bitter sweet taste, Is this thought a waste? Confusions fill to the brim, Like in a dramatic film, All the things done together, No surprise – forever’s never! A feeling tough to judge, Like a very salty fudge, Tears well up in the eye, As smiles say goodbye! Standing the tests of time, Can’t deny they are sublime, Though colossal like a boulder, Grave weight on the shoulder! As thoughts weigh down, Up I stand with a smiley frown, Cherishing bittersweet moments, Not a care for any comments!

An Aquamarine’s Blues

Image
A thinker’s blog, but it is a clog, Milkshakes to cane, a journey in vain, Of travels near and far, yet so obscure, The more I learn, the less I know, Adventuring through time and space, Touched by love, blues, hurt and grace, Sinful wastes and wasteful gaits, Smiles at them laughful traits. It’s yet another slide downhill, Just another one cheap thrill, No brake can break the spree, Bring it on and set me free.
